This PURPLE color is one of several bright colors that factories are now charging $125 more since they use very expensive premium quality white hides to dye rather than less expensive darker colored hides. Less expensive darker colored hides can be dyed to get darker colors such as black or brown. Dying hides these darker colors can actually hide blemishes and other color defects in a cowhide that would show up when dying with lighter colors such as fuschsia, light blue, gold or purple.

Not only is this PURPLE color more expensive, but it is often a "special order only" item and thus often out of stock for at least 30 days. Please call for availability before ordering.
