One designer, custom “patched” 7' x 7' (84 x 84 inch) cowhide rug using 12 inch squares, from South America, custom made for Rick Levin. The rug is to be black and white 50/50 or at least more black than white. The customer understands that his rug cannot and will not look exactly like any pic we might have sent him but will be a randomly designed rug with black and white colors.

The price is $17.50 per square foot. Total square footage and price is 7 x 7= 49 sq ft. times $17.50 or $857.50 plus shipping of $15.00 for a total of $872.50. Customer understands that there will be a 65% non refundable deposit required up front, or $570.00, with a balance of $302.50 due upon his rug arrival in the US. The customer realizes that due to the fact that this is a custom rug, no refund will be given as long as the above requirements are met. Part of my guarantee is that the hide will be esthetically appearing to the vast majority of people.

We say this because no two hides will ever look the same so some variance in both design and color is to be expected.  In addition, hair length will vary somewhat from cowhide to cowhide, as will the supplesness of the different hides as no two hides ever come out of the tanning process the same.

In other words, one has to be flexible in their expectations, knowing though that the rug will be beautiful and of the finest quality. We are dealing with natural products so some variance in color, design, hair length and tanning is to be expected.

Lastly, even though most rugs can be made within 5-6 weeks, the customer understands that some hides can take up to 3 months to make.
