Brazilian Premium Cowhides: The Rarest, Most Unusual Designs

Contrary to what one may think, cowhides ARE NOT all created equal!) The pictures of the Brazilian cowhides in these categories are the ACTUAL hides customers receive. Because of this, multiple hides of the same cowhide cannot be ordered. If more than one cowhide of a particular design is wanted, please find another one on our website. All of these "natural colored" cowhides come from Brazil, the country that unquestionably produces the finest quality cowhides in the world. Please do not confuse the cowhides here in these categories with the common brindle, black and white or brown and white hides that we sell elsewhere on the site for around $200-$249. Every cowhide we have photographed in all these categories is truly a one-of-a-kind cowhide, either in their vivid colors or unusual designs. This is even the case when we photograph very common cowhides like black and whites, brown and whites or brindles that we mention above. Even with very common colors like these, there are still the few that can take your breath away. THESE are the ones that we photograph, as they are the ones that we would have in our own homes because we know what the really pretty ones are. The bottom line is this: rarely will you find cowhides either this pretty or this unusual in stores. Representing less than 1% of all cowhides, these hides could easily cost $500, $600, even $700 -$800. Absurd, yes, but true. Out of the 5000 hides we may sort through on our monthly South American trip, we will find no more than 40-50 or so of these unusually pretty hides. Each one is hand picked for size, quality, color and unique design. In addition, we spend anywhere from 15-30 minutes "sculpturing" each of these hide to have them look symmetrical. Hides coming in from Brazil can look quite badly as far as the shape is concerned. We only take the time to sculpture these higher priced hides. Prices depend on size and how rare the color and style are. We have more of these rare hides than the next 5 websites combined, with over one hundred at any given time. In addition, we specialize in extra large hides, hides that are 7x8 ft in size. Unfortunately, pictures rarely do these hides justice as the hides themselves are usually much more stunning in person!
