The premium grade Brazilian cowhides in these pictures are for people who want the finest quality cowhides in the world and are willing to spend the extra money. These pictures represent the most common styles and will be used for a guide only when picking your cowhide. Since no two hides are the same, please expect some differences between these pictures and the hides we actually send.

All of these "natural colored" cowhides come from either Brazil or Argentina, the countries that unquestionably produce the finest quality cowhides in the world. The leather of each one of our cowhides is very supple and soft, unlike so many other cowhides on the market today that can actually be quite stiff. In addition, our manufacturers do not use any of the harsh tanning solutions that can produce the unpleasant smell that many other cowhide products commonly have. Please do not let our low prices fool you. Our hides are at least as nice, and probably nicer than the hides at your better retail stores selling for $325-$500. We are volume buyers, buying 100's of hides each month and import directly from the best tanneries in South America.
When selecting your cowhide, please select from each of the "drop down" boxes...namely, the "size and price option", the "quality option" and the "hair length option". A quick note about the "quality" choices...Most of our hides are "premium" quality and are at least as nice as what you will find in your best retail stores. Occasionally, "show quality" hides are available. "Show quality" hides are very rare and represent the nicest 5% of all cowhides in the world...less noticeable markings, fewer "natural encounters" with trees or barbwire and less damage in processing. Rarely will you find this quality in stores or on the Internet...they are simply too rare. We are the largest retail dealer in the country of these "show quality" hides and even we are often out of them.
Rest assured that every cowhide rug we sell is of the highest quality. Nicer
cowhide rugs simply do not exist. Most of our cow hide products come from either Argentina or Brazil, the two countries that unquestionably produce the finest quality
cow hides in the world. The more supple Brazilian cowhides are best for natural cow hide rugs while stiffer Argentine cowhide is best for a designer patchwork
cow hide rug. Our designer cowhide pillows also come from Brazilian cow hides. In short, the quality of our cow hide area rugs, our cow hide pillows and our designer cow hide rugs is unsurpassed.
